RC CAR Workshop

The Electronics and Communication Students’ Organisation (ECO) of EC Department organised a Workshop on “RC CAR” on 16th March 2024, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in B-Block Nirma University. This workshop was held for all the department’s students, a workshop that was packed with learning and introducing participants to the world of remote-controlled cars, covering various aspects from assembly to operation. Each team consisted 4-5 members.

The event commenced with Team ECO, in collaboration with Tinkerers’ Lab which provided Kits and electronic components. The ECO members served as the hosts for the event. The workshop was based on gaining hands-on experience in assembling and operating RC cars using ESP32, Chassis, Car turning mechanism (acrylic cut from TL), BO Motors, Servo motor, Wheels, 3.7V Lithium-ion Batteries, battery holder, MX1508 Motor driver, jumper wires, nuts, screws, and bolts. This immersive experience was designed to get started with Microcontrollers and Wireless Communication domains. The workshop began with an overview of RC cars, discussing their history, types, and applications. Participants were provided with RC car kits and guided through the assembly process step by step. Once the cars were assembled, participants were taught basic driving skills.
