
The EC Dept. Institute of Technology Nirma University, proudly organized the 3rd International Conference on Recent Advancements in Materials Science and Nanotechnology (RAMAN-2026), witnessing vibrant global participation from leading researchers, academicians, and industry experts.
The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Nilesh Desai, Director, SAC-ISRO, who highlighted the decisive role of advanced materials in shaping India’s ambitious space future, including the Bhartiya Antriksh Station (BAS) and missions such as Gaganyaan, Quantum Radar, and Spaceborne Remote Sensing.
Eminent speakers including Prof. Robert Puller (Italy), Dr. Mohamed Ellouze (Tunisia), and Dr. Sundhindra Rayaprol (BARC, India) enriched the event with insightful discussions on cutting-edge materials and nanotechnology.
A pre-conference tutorial by Mr. Marmik B., Founder & CEO, Monk9, spotlighted India’s progress toward indigenous 130-nm fabrication and the creation of thousands of new job opportunities.
