The Placement Team of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department organized a preparatory session for BTech Semester VII students to prepare them for the upcoming campus drive of ARM. The speakers of the session were (i) Mr. Viraj Mankad ? Graduate Engineer at ARM (mankadviraj@gmail.com) and Mr. Vishwam Bhavsar, Graduate Engineer at ARM (vishwambhavsar@gmail.com). The session was organized via Google Meet on 17th September 2022, Saturday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. The purpose of the session was to have the students gain a general understanding of the ARM interview process, how to prepare for the interview process, what to look for in the last minutes, and how to make their resume powerful and appealing. The session stared with a welcome note and introduction of the guests by Dr. Sachin Gajjar, Placement Coordinator. The speakers were the Alumni of Nirma University and excellent professionals in their respective fields. Later, Mr Viraj Mankad, shared about the life at ARM, projects that he is currently working on, information about the company, their work culture, recruitment process of the ARM, key subjects or points which should be kept in mind, importance of soft skills during an interview, how to respond to a topic/question which you are completely unaware of and some more tips for technical interview rounds. Further, Mr. Vishwam Bhavsar continued the session with his experience in the company, the projects he is working on, his interview process and added a couple of more points related to the recruitment process. Also, more comprehensive information about the important topics to be focused on for the online test were shared by both the speakers. At the end, there was an interactive session between the students and guests, questions related to the roles offered by the company and some other queries were answered by the guests.
