The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Institute of Technology, Nirma University, organised a 48-hour long online event ?MATLAB Hackathon?, from January 01-03, 2022 which was coordinated by Prof Twinkle Bhavsar and Dr Yogesh Trivedi. A total of 51 teams took part in this event, from various institutes from pan India. The MATLAB Hackathon was judged by Mr Gunjan Gupta (Founder, MATLAB Helper), Mr Nikhil Sonavane from Mathworks, and Dr Yogesh Trivedi, Professor at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Nirma University. Four problem statements were released on January 01, 2022, and the final presentations were conducted on January 03, 2022. The inauguration ceremony was held on January 03, 2022, at 1 pm, on the Webex platform and it was graced by Dr Rajesh Patel, Direction, Institute of Technology, Nirma University, and Dr Dhaval Pujara, HoD EC, Institute of Technology, Nirma University. The team CanTin from Ramaiah Institute of Technology secured the First position, The team Insane_Triad from Institute of Technology, Nirma University secured the Second position, and the team Order 66 from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati secured the Third position.
