Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the major department of the Institute of Technology since its inception in 1995. The BTech program of the department is NBA accredited under Tier-I category. The Department is very active in teaching and research in the areas of Communications and Signal Processing, VLSI design, Microwave antennas, and Embedded Systems. The broad spectrum of courses is taught by a group of highly-experienced faculty who are also researchers in their own areas. The curriculum is robust in design and content and it is in keeping with the latest developments in the industry.

Committed to excellence in teaching, the Department is equipped with state-of-the-art experimental and computational facilities for undertaking R&D and consultancy activities in various fields. A firm footing on fundamentals, a large choice of electives both disciplinary and inter-disciplinary coupled with extensive practical work ensure that the students receive a well-rounded education.
