Speaker Bio: Dr. Umesh’s research expertise includes speech recognition, speaker normalization, deep learning, and machine learning. With a Ph.D. from the University of Rhode Island, USA, he has held prestigious research positions at RWTH Aachen, Cambridge University, and AT&T Laboratories. He is a recipient of the AICTE Career Award for Young Teachers and the Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellowship.
