Nirma University, Ahmedabad, is a research-oriented, student-centric, multidisciplinary, not-for-profit state private university. The university received NAAC A+ grade in its third cycle of accreditation. It is also awarded the Centre of Excellence (CoE) status by the Government of Gujarat. Institute of Technology

Institute of Technology, Nirma University was established in the year 1995 by the Nirma Education and Research Foundation (NERF). The Institute is the first self-financed engineering college of the State of Gujarat. All the BTech Programmes are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) under Tier-I category. It is one of the most sought-after institutes and has been recognized as a leading center of education in the country. The Institute offers multidisciplinary undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in Engineering and Technology. It has been consistently ranked amongst the top self-financed engineering colleges of India

A block

It houses the Mechanical and Chemical departments. It is equipped with various innovative labs such as Tinkerer’s lab, Centre for Robotics and Automation etc.

B block

It is the conjunction of two diverse fields: the civil engineering department and the humanities and social sciences department. It is a go to place for a lot of students with its reading room and library facilities.

C Block

It houses the Institute of Architecture and Planning. With walls and Columns filled with creative designs and paintings this building generates a soothing element. It also has one of the biggest Auditoriums in Nirma University where many activities of different fests occur.

D Block

It is the union of Electronics and communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, and Electrical Engineering and home to various ingenious labs such as Optical Fibre lab, Multiple Project Labs, Communication Engineering lab, and Alumni Sponsored Lab in which Loco Bot , Duckie Bot and Computer vision Related projects are in development.

W Block

Workshop for Mechanical Engineering and SAE club, full of advanced machines for manufacturing and assembling.

N Block

Newest building of the campus, accommodating state of the art classrooms and laboratories for various institutes under Nirma University

E block

Standing 14 floors tall, it is the newest and most grand building of Nirma University. Home to the Institute of Commerce and Post Graduate Courses of Engineering. It also has well furnished, fully equipped computer labs and offices and an incubation center too.

K Block

This block houses the main Canteen, Student Store, Student Section, III Cell, Kalupur Bank and ATM

Law Canteen

Law Canteen is the busiest and most fascinating for Nirma’s foodie students. Always busy with students doing their projects, assignments and group discussion there. Famous for its fast food and is also open till 11 pm.

Cricket ground (CG)

Cricket ground is a sports hub of Nirma University. It consists of a variety of sports pitches and courts. It has a huge ground for cricket as well as 3 lawn tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, 2 volleyball courts, 2 badminton courts and a net cricket court.
