I am thankful for the new opportunities and insights that have resulted from completion of this challenging and rewarding Embedded Systems master program at Nirma Institute of Technology.
The Master degree provided me with a conceptual framework for Embedded technology. The overall curriculum program was organized very well; it has an excellent balance between general concepts of Embedded systems and specializations in different areas like system architecture, design, signal processing, programming and verification. One of the best things about the course was the varied levels of electives offered like Embedded OS, Multimedia system and image processing, VLSI SoC etc. to gain the knowledge and expertise in specific domain. The professor?s industry understanding and highly experienced academic knowledge provided a real time up to date learning experience for me.
The most interesting part was the importance given to lab, practical assignments and seminars. The labs were equipped with all the latest industry standard tools that includes variety of FPGA/ASIC boards, ARM compiler and debugging tools etc. to achieve industry like experience.
Last but not least, the placement cell and program coordinator has good ties with the business community which eventually helped me to get an internship at Broadcom.
The technical/practical knowledge and tools that I gained during my masters really helped me to perform well during my internship which turned into full time opportunity.
My overall experience was positive and I am grateful for the opportunity to have earned MTech degree from Nirma University”.
