The Placement Team of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department organized a preparatory session for BTech Semester VII students to prepare themselves for the upcoming campus drive of eInfochips. The speakers of the session were (i) Ms. Kamya Ahuja (kamyaahuja52692@gmail.com) (ii) Mr. Divyansh Rai (divyansh.rai00@gmail.com) (iii) Mr. Monish Chunara (monishchunara002@gmail.com) at eInfochips. The session was organized via Google Meet on October 11, 2022 from 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm. The purpose of the session was to have the students gain a general understanding of the eInfochips interview process, how to prepare for the interview process, what to look for in the last minutes and how to make their resume powerful and appealing. The session started with a welcome note and the introduction of the speakers by Dr Sachin Gajjar, Placement Coordinator. The speakers were the Alumni of Nirma University and excellent professionals at their respective fields. Ms Kamya Ahuja shared her experience in ASIC domain. She discussed about the EITRA training as the 6 month internship which she took after joining einfochips. At einfochops in VLSI domain there are three career options Physical Design (PD), Verification and Design for Test (DFT). She shared the recruitment process of eInfochips, what are key subjects which are required to be prepared by the student for the interview. Next, Mr Monish shared his experience in the company in Embedded domain, the projects he is working on, the interview process. He also discussed the main topics and subjects the students should prepare for Embedded Engineer role. Finally, Mr. Divyansh gave certain tips for interview preparation. At the end, there was a question answer session where the students raised questions related to the projects currently the alumni are working on at eInfochips, roles offered by the company this time, what should be included in their resume, etc.
