International Exposure

For imparting teaching beyond the curriculum, dignitaries from various academic and research organizations from India and abroad are invited regularly. Global expertise is brought locally by actively collaborating with various research organizations and academic institutions of repute. Further, students of the department are also exposed to the best practices through internships in top universities abroad.

  • Dr. Jorge Teniente-Vallinas Public University of Navarra, delivered a short course on Antennas, Terreatial and Satellite Radio Wave Communication for the UG and PG students in March 2019. He also shared his research work with the students, research scholars and faculty.
  • Aditya Dave, final year student was selected in Spring 2019 Accelerator Program Boulder Coloroda by Watson University US. He worked on developing an IoT based solution for underprivileged community from January, 2019 to May, 2019. He received a scholarship of 10,500 US Dollars.
  • Mohit Jain  and Adit Shah, B Tech students got an opportunity to work on a project titled “CAD based Pneumonia detection using Image Processing”, in Florida Atlantic University, USA under the guidance of Dr. Hanqi Zhuang in 2018.
  • Yashaswi Rauthan, final year BTech student worked on a project titled “YOLO to VATIC”, in the University of Houston, USA under the guidance of Dr. Shishir Shah in 2018.
  • Purva Desai, final year BTech student worked on a project titled “Occupancy Detection”, in the University of Houston, USA under guidance of Dr. Omprakash Gnawali in 2018.
